Carol Jackson is a stone mason who lives and works in the Peterborough area.   She is the owner of Carol Jackson Restoration Masonry. Mostly she focuses on restoration of historic buildings, but occasionally gets to carve stone and build drystone walls. She is a graduate of the Heritage Masonry Programme of Algonquin college and was employed for a time with RJW Stonemasons in Ottawa restoring the West Block at Parliament Hill. Carol is also a faculty associate at Willowbank School of Restoration Arts, and was part of the site crew of the South West Wall Project at Willowbank. In winter months she can be found restoring interior plaster in century homes or wielding a trowel with green builder Deirdre McGahern of Straworks.
