In a friendly and encouraging environment, you will be introduced to terminology and learn tool safety, how to choose and buy tools, selecting and purchasing materials for projects, measuring marking and layout. There is plenty of time for you to practice with tools and become comfortable in the workshop.

Each participant will construct and bring home a pair of folding saw horses that can be used as a work platform for future projects or as a base for a desk!
The excitement and pride of learning to work with wood and tools is infectious! You’ll be set to take on projects of your own with confidence and skill.
