RD Lawrence Place-2007

RD Lawrence Place was designed by Chris Magwood, Jen Feigin and Ingrid Cryns and built by students at Fleming College’s sustainable building program in 2007.

Located in downtown Minden, Ontario, this building created a museum home for the collected manuscripts and memorabilia of renowned Canadian environmentalist and author, RD Lawrence. The museum is part of the Minden Cutural Centre, and offers programming related to environmental issues and creative writing. The building and the programming celebrate the spirit of this environmental pioneer.
